Stand to Be Named After Mithali Raj at ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam
The Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) has announced that two sections of the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam will be dedicated to iconic Indian women cricketers Mithali Raj and Ravi Kalpana on October 12, ahead of the India vs Australia ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 fixture.

As part of its ongoing efforts to celebrate women’s contributions to cricket, the ACA will name a stand after Mithali Raj and a gate after Ravi Kalpana. This marks a landmark moment for women’s cricket in Andhra Pradesh and across India.
“The ACA’s tribute to Mithali Raj and Ravi Kalpana reflects a deep commitment to honouring the trailblazers who have redefined women’s cricket in India while inspiring the next generation to dream bigger,” the ACA said in a statement.
